Secretary of the Office of the City of Hradec Králové

The  Office Secretary is  appointed and withdrawn by the City Council  and with acceptance by the Chief of the District Office.

  • The City Secretary is a City Office employee; he is superior to all City Office employees,  carries out the role of employer's statutory body. He manages and supervises activities of the employees, coordinates the collaboration of departments. He presents to the City Council proposals  on assignments  (or withdrawals) of the heads of departments of the City Office.

  • The secretary takes part in Board of Representatives meetings,  and he has an advisory vote. He ensures that the decision of the bodies are fulfilled. In his  independent activities   he is responsible to the Council and Mayor. In the his delegated activities he is responsible to the Mayor.
