I would like to present in brief my vision of development of the City of Hradec Králové. It is a city of rich history, pulsating present and ambitious future. My goal is to strive for realization of all justified proposals, activities and ideas that will participate in developing our city. In practice it means preparing optimal conditions for the development of entrepreneurial activities and for the inflow of new investors. That will help to better balance the labour market. I have an intention to intensify building of apartments in the whole territory of the City. An important step in the City´s strategy will be the approval of the Territorial Plan, which will help the optimal use of the territory from the town-planning standpoint. I feel that it is important to mention my intention to broaden the sporting and leisure participation of our citizens. The importance of this intention is multiplied by our common endeavors to minimize the risk of socially pathological behavior of juveniles. The success of concrete measures depends to a large extent on creating a favorable environment for locating institutions of republic, regional and above-regional importance in Hradec Králové. In the frame of general strategy the approach to details should be conceptual and balanced. Our vision should be materialized by every day work, so that we could proudly call our town - the Salon of the Czech Republic.
