Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs

Ing. Boris Herman

Born on June 14, 1964 in Ostrava. He has been living in Hradec Králové since 1987. He studied at the VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, specialization in thermal engineering. In 1987 he started to work for ZVU in Hradec Králové as a designer of investment constructions. Since 1995 he was running a business as a part-owner of a catering company. Since 1991 he has been a member of the Civic Democratic Party on behalf of which he has been elected as a Member of the Board of City Representatives, he remained a member until today. He represented the City of Hradec Králové in many bodies of different joint-stock companies, he himself considers important his activities for local ice-hockey club and in the field of thermal management. The results of the last elections earned him a post of Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs. He is married with two sons. In his free time he enjoys the company of his family and he pursues recreational sports activities.
