Banská Bystrica

Banská Bystrica in central Slovakia has had a friendly relation with our town for a long time. There were different periods of co-operation, of course, but the renewed contract is promising and there’s a hope that the inhabitants of both cities will benefit from it. The Mayor of Banská Bystrica is Mr. Ivan Saktor who has visited our town on various occasions. At present regular meetings of city representatives and officers are being organised to improve municipality functions by exchanging experience.
