The new territorial plan of the city will be dealing with utilization of urban area, its development, location of
buildings, system of traffic and technical infrastructure, conservation of cultural heritage and preservation of
natural and landscape property over the next 10 – 15 years. Although mainly professionals are in charge of designing
territorial plan, the city counts on suggestions and active participation of citizens during negotiation of individual
stages.
Q&A of territorial plan
The new territorial plan will be based on traffic-urban solution of the winning concept of the international urban competition of the ideological study of territorial plan of Hradec Králové which was held in the first half of 2010. Over the next 10 – 15 years it will become fundamental conceptional document of territorial planning mostly dealing with major trends and conditions of city development, system of traffic and technical infrastructure, providing conservation of cultural heritage and preservation of natural and landscape property.

Patrik Kotas which is the author of the winning concept of the international ideological urban competition of the new territorial plan. The winning concept is exhibited on the second floor of the left wing of the Municipality of Hradec Králové.
