European Heritage Days in Hradec Králové on the 18th of September

Church of St. Nicolas Thanks to the European Heritage Days every September gates of the most attractive monuments, buildings and premises are open to visitors including those which are usually partly or fully closed to public.

On the 18th of September visitors of the European Heritage Days, held by the City of Hradec Králové, can see interiors of several chapels in the centre of the city and its close surroundings. The most attractive premises situated in historical centre of the city will be open as well. It refers to the Chapel of St. Clement next to the White Tower, the Chapel of St. Michael situated in the Holy Spirit Cathedral. Sound organ music will be played in the Chapel of St. Joseph behind the Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary. You can visit the less known premises such as inconspicuous and modern chapel in the New Adalbertinum (Nové Adalbertinum). In Slezské Suburb (Slezské Předměstí ) you can go to see the Chapel of Immaculate Conception of Virgin Mary and the Chapel of the Helpful Virgin Mary situated nearby. We did not forget about Funeral Hall including the nearby Jewish Cemetery in Pouchov. Like every year the Church of St. Nicolas in Jirásek Gardens will be open.
