Hradec Králové

Only children with permanent residence in Hradec Králové will be enrolled in city nursery schools. It apllies to children reaching the age of 6 in the period between the 1st of September and the 31st of August of respective school year and children whose parents requested for deferment of compulsory school attendance. Next, children who reach the age of three no later than the 31st of December 2011, who have been enrolled to regular nursery school attendance and their parents do not receive parental allowance. Next, children whose siblings have already been enrolled to the same nursery school or to basic school which operates the nursery school.  Directors of nursery schools can also admit children with respect to their educational needs. In case that number of applications exceeds number of vacancies, the other admission criterion will be child´s date of birth.

„Child´s age doesn´t make any difference in case that siblings of different age apply for admission to nursery school,“ specified Alena Synková, head of school department of Municipality of Hradec Králové. Parents can collect the application form before the enrollment in nursery schools or in the school department. Only one application can be handed in.

During the enrollment child´s parent hands in the filled application confirmed by child´s general practitioner, his/her identity card and child´s birth certificate. If (s)he receives parental allowance, (s)he will also hand in approval statement of choice of right to parental allowance (oznámení o schválení volby nároku na rodičovský příspěvek). The enrollment takes place on Friday 8th of April from 10 to 17 o´clock and on Saturday 9th of April from 9 to 12 o´clock. The enrollment to the new nursery school in Kukleny, which will have been built in Markova Street by summer, should take place additionaly in August.

Parents and children can visit the selected nursery school before the enrollment. It is possible during days of open doors taking place subsequently in city nursery schools from the 22nd of February to the 5th of April.
