Education System

As of 1st September, 2006, the Statutory City of Hradec Králové administers 30 and the Region of Hradec Králové 5 kindergartens. In addition, one private and 2 church kindergartens are also available.
The Statutory City is the establisher of 18 primary schools. There are 3 primary schools established by the Regional Government, 2 schools established by churches, and 3 schools are private. Moreover, there are also two primary schools of arts available.
In Hradec Králové, 11 secondary vocational schools and higher vocational schools are located, as well as 6 secondary training institutions, and 4 secondary grammar schools. Also, 10 special schools are available in the city.
